Temperatures in summer are moderate and winters are usually cold in New Zealand. This diversity in climate provides awesome scope for many outdoor sports in New Zealand and this makes New Zealand, one of those countries which encourage sports heavily.

The universities have outstanding services and facilities. People are proud of the bicultural foundation and multicultural society of New Zealand. There's a real purity, uniqueness and a sense of isolation in New Zealand. It's a place far away from the rest of the world having Charming simplicity and too many sheep. There's core tranquility and a sense of assuredness about it.

Insurance: The student need not provide evidence of insurance policy with visa application; however, they are required to declare that they will make the necessary arrangements to meet this condition.

Therefore they are required to insure from the date of finalization of admission until the expiry of visa.

Where universities arrange insurance it may only cover the length of course of study rather than the period of student visa. If so the remaining stay in New Zealand owing to holiday or work an extension of insurance policy is required. If the insurance is not done the student is liable for deportation.

You may be allowed to work for up to 20 hours per week during the academic year. You are also eligible to work full-time during the Christmas and New Year holiday period at the end of academic year.
